1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Lithium website, documentation, and protocol interface. Public blockchains and third-party services have their own data practices and are not controlled by Lithium.
2. Information involved
Depending on how you use Lithium, the following information may be processed:
- wallet addresses, selected network, and wallet-connection state;
- public blockchain transactions, balances, positions, and contract interactions;
- device, browser, IP address, referral, request, and error-log information;
- connection identifiers and technical metadata used by wallet infrastructure; and
- messages or other information you send when contacting Lithium.
Lithium does not receive your private keys or seed phrase. Never provide them to Lithium or to anyone claiming to provide Lithium support.
3. How information is used
Information is used to:
- provide wallet connection and requested protocol interactions;
- display public onchain positions and transaction status;
- secure, operate, diagnose, and improve the interface;
- respond to support, legal, and security requests; and
- comply with applicable law and protect users, Lithium, and the public.
Where applicable, these activities rely on performance of a requested service, legitimate interests in operating and securing Lithium, legal obligations, or consent.
4. Wallet and service providers
Lithium uses Reown AppKit and WalletConnect-compatible infrastructure for optional wallet connection. Connection providers may process wallet, IP, device, and connection metadata under their own terms. Lithium does not use Reown connection data for analytics or advertising. Review the Reown Privacy Policy for Reown's practices.
RPC providers, LitVM, block explorers, hosting providers, and a wallet you choose may also receive technical or transaction information needed to provide their services.
5. Public blockchain data
Blockchain transactions are public and may be permanent. Lithium cannot edit, hide, or delete information recorded on LitVM or another public network. Wallet addresses may be associated with a person by third parties using public or independently obtained data.
6. Storage and retention
Essential browser storage or cookies may remember wallet-connection and session state. Recent transactions submitted through the interface are saved in your browser so you can follow their status after navigating or refreshing. Confirmed protocol activity is also read from the blockchain for your connected wallet. Clearing browser storage removes locally saved requests, but does not remove blockchain history. Lithium retains information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. Infrastructure providers apply their own retention periods. Public blockchain records are not controlled by Lithium.
7. Sharing and transfers
Information may be shared with providers that operate wallet connections, hosting, RPC, security, or support services; with authorities when legally required; or in connection with a reorganization of Lithium. Providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to safeguards required by applicable law.
Lithium does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
8. Your choices and rights
You may use the public website without connecting a wallet, disconnect your wallet, clear local browser storage, or stop using Lithium. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights do not remove public blockchain records.
9. Children
Lithium is not intended for children under 18, and Lithium does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as Lithium evolves. The date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions or requests, contact Lithium through @lithiumlend.
